Many dogs are cast out for the simple reason that their owners are suddenly too pressed for time to care for them. Many animals perish because they are absolutely unaccustomed to outdoor life and cannot feed properly. Although rescue specialists do their best to save the lives of these dogs, many happen to be too sick to carry on and hence have to be euthanized.
