The dogs of this breed are rather expensive, because breeding and raising is very complicated and only reputable and experienced breeders can do that. Both parents should be screened for all possible defects and the bitch should be supervised by the vet. Cesarean section is often necessary to give birth, especially if the bitch is rather small.
